Philosophy of Assessment And Evaluation

Our approach towards assessment and evaluation combines features of quantitative and qualitative reports. Some of the features include the following:

1 Focus on reflecting academic performance. Causes for non-performance and non-achievement are reflected.

2 Reflects growth and development of a child in non-academic areas too.

3 Builds a better rapport between parents and teachers because of the better quality of information shared about the child, which is at the heart of both parties. Each could tell the other how ‘things’ could be improved.

4 A glimpse of the educational processes of the school and response of the child.

5 A picture of the complete child is painted by the school for the parents, reflecting all round development of the child.

6 Non-judgmental and thereby leaves scope for the child to “wake up” and turnaround at any stage.
