The logo of OIS originates from the Sun, the first source of light. In the symbol, light spreads to form the petals of an orchid flower. Each petal of the flower represents the various aspects of the stages of learning- Jyoti (light), Gyaan (knowledge), Buddhi (intelligence), Vivek (wisdom), Pragati (progress). The contours of the flower are graphic representations of birds flying in an upward direction which symbolizes the development of the child.
