Frances is a Canadian national, with more than three decades of experience, in teaching students across schools and colleges in Canada and other places. She has a diversified experience in the planning, development, implementation and teaching of English Language and implementing Multicultural programs.
She holds a Diploma in Administration of Multicultural Education from University of Calgary. She completed her M.Ed. in Adult Education (T.E.S.L.) from the University of British Columbia and B.A with Double Major in English and Geography University of British Columbia. She obtained Teaching Certificates from Alberta Professional Permanent, T.E.S.L. Peace Education and St. Michael’s Centre for International programs.
She has been a full-time ESL teacher with the Calgary Board of Education for over two decades and with several other centers in Canada for about a decade more. She was an exchange teacher to Russia and Australia for about one year each. She will be a teacher resource person at OIS during the second term of 2010-2011. She went back fromOIS in first week of February.
