Mrs. Frances Zaborniak, M.Ed.

Frances is a Canadian national, with more than three decades of experience, in teaching students across schools and colleges in Canada and other places. She has a diversified experience in the planning, development, implementation and teaching of English Language and implementing Multicultural programs.

She holds a Diploma in Administration of Multicultural Education from University of Calgary. She completed her M.Ed. in Adult Education (T.E.S.L.) from the University of British Columbia and B.A with Double Major in English and Geography University of British Columbia. She obtained Teaching Certificates from Alberta Professional Permanent, T.E.S.L. Peace Education and St. Michael’s Centre for International programs.

She has been a full-time ESL teacher with the Calgary Board of Education for over two decades and with several other centers in Canada for about a decade more. She was an exchange teacher to Russia and Australia for about one year each. She will be a teacher resource person at OIS during the second term of 2010-2011. She went back fromOIS in first week of February.

 

Mr. Satish Bhide

He was a design engineer with Voltas for a couple of decades before taking premature voluntary retirement.

He is keenly interested in school children developing clear and lucid understanding of the basic mathematical and scientific concepts through activities and model.

With this in view, he has been working in his home laboratory for the last two decades in developing very innovative, creative and engaging teaching aids and working models using simple, low cost materials. He has been also documenting systematically the methods and procedures used in preparing the models and aids.

He is associated with OIS on a continuous basis in initiating, nurturing and supporting our teachers and students into the fascinating world of discovery oriented learning of mathematics and basic sciences. OIS is collaborating with him to organize the science exhibition for schools in and around Nashik on the 17th and 18th December 2010.

Sri Bhide states to have been inspired by Sri Arvind Gupta of IUCAA. Sri Bhide has been associated with OIS for about one year and is a permanent honorary and distinguished faculty member of the school.

 

Mr. Bal Krishna Verma

Bal Krishna Verma is an Innovative senior level teaching experience with English, Economics, Social Studies In reputed school like St, Xavier in Bombay, with significance contributions in over all Development of student’s personality. Value based solutions and consultative approach. Also broad work experience and Industrial exposure for more than 25 years in National And Multinational Companies. In depth knowledge and hands on experience in learning, Training and development. A positive approach to life and self motivated with high Degree of flexibility and eminent.

He has Master of Arts in Social Work from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, with Economics And Human Relations Management as core subjects. Executive Development Program In Personnel Management and Industrial Relations From Jamna LalBajaj institute of Management, Bombay. Bachelor of Education. From Punjab University. Bachelor of Arts from Punjab University.

 

Mr. Kelkar

Prof. Kelkar is a distinguished teacher of Physics, right from junior college to the level of post graduation. He has served educational institutes of Nashik for more than from decades in different capacities. He is deeply committed to the profession of teaching and stands committed to the welfare of children. He visits our school about three days a week to provide specialized inputs to the secondary school students in the subject of Physics.

 

Mrs. Bhate

A student of Prof. Kelkar Mrs. Bhate has been teaching Physics at the junior college and under graduation level for close to two decades in educational institute of Nashik. She works along with Prof. Kelkar in our school so that students are attended to on an individual level.

 

Mr. Ajit Takke

Mr. Ajit Takke is a professional from the field of civil and construction engineering. His passion for an alternative life style for deep ecological sustainability made him devote his life to the larger causes of the society. He was the Secretary of Gram Seva Mandal, an important arm of Gandhiji’s community at Wardha. Deeply moved by our ancient culture and Gandhiji’s call for simple living, Mr. Ajit Takke has adopted the “Gandhian” way of life as a young man. He is associated with the Anandniketan Schools of Nai Talim Samiti, Wardha, as an educational resource person. He is also associated with a couple of other schools in Nashik as an educational resource person for the middle school. He has conducted a couple of “Nature Science” workshops for our middle school children and he is associated with our school in different domains for more than one year now.
