 "Readers today are leaders tomorrow." Keeping this in mind, OIS provides a well-equipped library for its would-be leaders, enabling them to explore the world of knowledge.
The library subscribes to periodicals and has a rich stock of literature, reference books and a wide range of audio and video DVDs and CDs (including a section on world music) to inculcate good reading, viewing and listening habits.
An appreciation of great literature, film and music is one of those attributes that OIS strives to develop in its students for the greater enjoyment of culture throughout life as well as for the academic enrichment. The faculty is always encouraged to upgrade the library with fresh arrivals and classics too.
 The students are encouraged to borrow books and nurture a love for reading. However, in today’s world, information technology is also an essential resource for research and learning and so the library is equipped with PCs with Internet connectivity. Each class has its own library to make books easily available to the students for ready reference.

The School computer laboratory has the latest multimedia computers with internet facilities for the students. The school has a well trained computer faculty who make learning about computers a fun activity. 
Our school has purchased about 25 Lingua Phone packages, including the books and audio cassettes. The system is used by the English teachers in a very selective manner to dovetail with their curriculum and pedagogy. 
In order to train students in nutrition and cooking, the school has a Home Science laboratory.
OIS offers spacious, airy, well-lit classrooms with multimedia connectivity, adjustable modern furniture and also a mini-library for ready classroom reference to create an effective learning experience.
