A graduate in Fine Arts who is an entrepreneur with a social bend of mind, Mr. Sapkal has single-handedly spearheaded many projects for social causes in and around Buldhana, his native town.
Spreading education has been very close to his heart and he has been instrumental in setting up many schools in small towns and villages of Maharashtra.
His aspiration to contribute something worthwhile to society led him to establish a school for the new generation in Nashik. The grandeur of OIS and its inception is due to him. |

Mrs. Kalyani R Sapkal, Vice–Chairperson of the Kalyani Charitable Trust and wife of the Chairman–cum–Managing Director Mr. Ravindra G Sapkal, is deeply involved in all the activities of the Trust.
She has been the motivating force behind Mr. Ravindra G Sapkal establishing the Company, Trust and OIS, Nashik. She has a great love of books and is a voracious reader. She is also a successful home maker and has two well-brought up children. |

After serving for 33 years as a member of top management teams of leading companies, Mr Ramchandani became Doon School’s first alumnus Headmaster in 1979.
He introduced modern management principles in the school and transformed its management approach in a nine-year stint. |

Dr. Madhav Saraswat

A doctorate with over 20 years of extensive experience in teaching, administration and community development programmes, Dr. Saraswat is a staunch believer of education;
he is a multi-faceted personality - scholar, respected academician, orator, able administrator, prolific writer, and a true Indian. He spent 16 years at the Doon School and has been associated with Round Square conference, an international organization of schools, for last 20 years.
At present, he is working towards understanding and customizing global ethics, value, system and benchmarks in Indian/Local context so that our new generation can take challenges with the global economies in the time to come. |

Dr. Sundar Gandikota

Dr. Sundar Gandikota was with the manufacturing sector in the functions of design, project management, engineering manager and general management for sixteen years.
In the year 1998 he stepped out of industry to pursue his childhood call of understanding deeper questions of life and experiencing alternative ways of life. He joined the Rishi Valley School (Krishnamurti Foundation of India) as its faculty member and was there for eight years.
He had brief stints in the Chinmaya International Residential School, Coimbatore and Anubhuti School, Jalgaon, before taking charge as the Principal of Orchid International School, Nashik, in April 2009.
He is keenly interested in understanding, designing and implementing appropriate management and educational processes in schools so that children are able to responsibly respond to the complex demands placed on them.
He has earned his doctorate by conducting a research study on “A STUDY OF THE MANAGEMENT STYLE AND GROWTH OF STUDENTS AND TEACHERS AT RISHI VALLEY SCHOOL.” |
