 Kalyani Charitable Trust is established in the year 2003 by Mr. Ravindra Gambhir Rao Sapkal and his wife Mrs. Kalyani R. Sapkal who are the Chairman and Vice-Chairperson of the trust respectively. Related to the educational objectives of the trust, The Chairman has stated his dream and vision simplistically by using the phrase “KG to PG” to describe it succinctly.
One of the objectives of the trust is to contribute seriously to the field of education. The educational intent of the trust is to set up institutions of substance in an ever widening range of disciplines right from school to the post-graduation level. |

The institutions are mandated to design child and student centered educationa l approaches so that the uniqueness of each child is understood, appreciated and nurtured. The educational endeavor needs to make a lasting impact on the children. With the power of his dream behind it, the trust has embarked upon the process of setting up educational institutions for children right through Kindergarten (KG) to Post-Graduation from the year 2006.
The first step to realize his dream was taken by Sri Ravindra G. Sapkal in the June 11th, 2006 when Orchid International School started functioning from Classes 1 to 8. On the barren and inaccessible mini plateau came up the school in record time due to his persistent involvement and close personal supervision. Orchid Buds, the preprimary section, started concurrently to cater to the fun and educational needs of the tiny tots comprising of Nursery, Junior and Senior Kindergarten.  The Orchid Buds started playing in the colorful set of rooms, which were well equipped and well designed. In the meanwhile colleges for providing higher education in the disciplines of Engineering, Management Sciences and Pharmacy courses were begun in quick succession by the trust. Approved by AICTE and affiliated to the University of Pune, all these colleges are fully operational with a strong and esthetically designed infrastructural facility and appropriate faculty members.
Sapkal Knowledge Hub (SKH) is the entity which gives expression to the educational intent of the trust. The Hub is managed by the leadership team comprising of the Chairman, Vice-Chairperson, Chief Executive Officer and Heads of all the four educational institutions and it’s running the following learning centers at the moment:
